Mixer is a a Behringer XENYX X2442USB Premium 24-Input 4/2-Bus Mixer (get it HERE).

My Xenyx Berhinger mixer setup, including MIX MINUS settings

Buttons on channels:

All three channels: Solo out, main in.

CHANNEL One: 1/2 IN. 3/4 IN.

CHANNEL Two: 1/2 OUT. 3/4 IN.

CHANNEL Three: 1/2 IN. 3/4 OUT.

CHANNEL ONE ON MIXER (labeled MWD):

GAIN AT 2 O’CLOCK

CHANNEL TWO ON MIXER (labeled Comrex):

GAIN AT zero

CHANNEL THREE ON MIXER (labeled Skype):

GAIN AT 2 O’CLOCK

ALL THREE CHANNELS:

low-cut button in.

All compressor knobs off

EQ KNOBS

Channel 1: high at 2 oclock. high mid at noon. Low mid at 3 o’ clock. Low at noon

Channel 2: all noon,

Channel 3: all noon, except high at 2 oclock.

All aux knobs off

All FX knobs off.

All FX pre buttons out.

All Pan buttons at noon.

All Mute buttons out (on channels I’m using, all other channels muted and volume slider all the way down)

Volume sliders:

CHANNEL below zero, middle of bottom box.

TOP RIGHT area on mixer:

Aux Sends, Stereo Aux Returns: All at zero (except bottom right, phone to control room at noon, probably doesn’t need to be.)

All buttons out.

BOTTOM RIGHT area on mixer:

All buttons out, except Main Mix is in.

Phones into Phones A. Volume up just enough to hear in phones. (Not too loud, might cause echo back to Neema.) Keep side of headphones away from mic.

SUBGROUP SLIDERS

1/5 (Comrex): above zero, in middle of top box.

3/7: (Skype) at zero

2/6 and 4/8: off.

MAIN MIX: just above between the two boxes.

INPUTS AND OUTPUTS:

SUB OUTPUT 1 (ON BACK OF MIXER)

Into Comrex input Left via balanced 1/4″ male to male.

SUB OUTPUT 3 (ON BACK OF MIXER)

Into Skype computer M-Audio card’s In Left via balanced 1/4″ male to male.

CHANNEL ONE ON MIXER (MWD):

XLR input from Presonus output.

CHANNEL TWO ON MIXER (Comrex):

Balanced 1/4″ line in from left out balanced 1/4″ on Comrex

CHANNEL THREE ON MIXER (Skype):

Balanced 1/4″ male from Main Out L (NOT monitor out) on Skype computer M-Audio soundcard into Balanced 1/4″ male line in on mixer.

Tube Drive: 20

Thresh: halfway -22 and -28

Ratio: 5 (straight up)

Attack: Fast(est), all the way to left.

Release: at 2 o’clock

Gain: 9.

Low freq: noon plus 1

Low gain: noon plus 1

Mid freq: noon

Q: 2 notches to the right of noon

Gain: noon

High: freq at noon. Gain at 1 notch higher than noon

Level: -40
