Cheapest way in the world to improve audio – even for PorcFest
Above is Ben Stone the Bad Quaker’s amazing talk at PorcFest. Wonderful content. But lots of audio popping (plosives) from the P and D and B sounds in Ben’s talk
I love how PorcFest uses 500 dollar wireless mics and doesn’t bother with the two-dollar windscreen that would vastly improve the audio quality of the people speaking. They ALWAYS do this with every speaker, every year.
Same poping issue is on this otherwise-awesome Boston T. Party PorcFest talk:

I use these….you can get a pack of seven pretty colored mic condoms on Amazon for 14 dollars, HERE.
They come packed flat with the air sucked out of the bag, in a strip that looks like a roll of flavored condoms for a giant with a thick, short johnson:
You open each compartment with scissors, and then, as the Amazon description says, “Once they are opened from the package, allow for them to reform to their natural shape and beauty.”
I told Ben “Next time, put a pop filter windscreen on the mic. Porc fest never does that, and always has that problem. Next time you speak anywhere, bring your own and stick it on the mic at the start of the speech, and when you’re done, remove it when you leave. Will be a nice visual.
“Stupid people will think you’re using it like a condom to avoid other people’s spit though. which is fine.”
